Assessor

The Assessor holds office hours at the Township Hall from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

Service Description

You are welcome to stop by during these hours, or you can call Matt Nowak at his home office anytime at (989) 786-5518.
Assessment Rolls and Record Cards are available for inspection during these hours or any other questions that taxpayers may have.

The Board of Review meets in March to hear tax appeals and is also open to any questions from taxpayers.

The Board of Review meets again in July and December for the purpose of making any clerical corrections only (i.e., homestead exemptions corrections, late filing on person property, corrections to uncapping of taxable values).
